It is built as a fully featured canoe pack and can haul heavy loads in and out of the wilderness. Twin pockets on the back of the pack which straddle the axe sleeve give it a slim line which is ideal for walking in restrictive woodland or brush. A waist belt helps stabilise the load.
On both sides there are solid brass D Rings with paracord lashing leading to a short slip pocket which is ideal for carrying tent poles or a full size axe. Under the top flap you will find a map pocket The fully adjustable premium harness is made in leather and faced with buckskin, plus the sternum strap is also fully adjustable. Lash points can be found on the bottom for bed rolls, tent or sleeping bag and two more are found on the top flap.
This pack is made from the finest materials like all Frost River bags and by traditional handcrafted methods just like they have for the past century. Cotton Tin Cloth, Bridle Leather and Solid Brass fittings give Frost River the confidence to guarantee all their bags for life from manufacturing and material defect.
